oh so coco rocha

                                         OH SO COCO

Splashed across the N1 S highway is a Levis billboard with an interesting red head model, and no its not the colour of her hair or her pose that caught my eye, rather HER FACIAL expression did the trick for me. This was not the first time i had seen this beaut of a supermodel, who hails from USA. She has walked the run-way countless of times, embraced the covers of countless of magazines and was recently on America's Next Top Model schooling the contestants on how to strike a pose-with their faces! I was in awe at her beauty, perfectly structured/chiseled bone structure and her professional yet goofy personality.

COCO ROCHA is her name, and what makes her so COCO is herself and talent. Here are a few pics of her taken from her blog and internet. ENJOY.

White/Black body

This lady always seems to walk into the office with her own sense of style and confidence. But the part that really catches my attention is her BODY! She goes by the name of Kierryn Harris and my, oh my can she give many black/coloured girls a run for her money.

On this specific day she wore a cute yet cheecky colourful multi-printed skirt. When i asked her about her outfit she had said that she had no idea on how to pair her black ankle boots with her the skirt, but i think she managed to pull off the outfit with simplicity; and as we know simple is always better and elegant.

Neighbourgoods and Great Dane

On Saturday my better half and I decided to hit the streets of Johanneburg, or, rather i qoute "Be in the sun." Ofcourse, the first place that came to mind was Neighbourgoods Market (Braamfontein). We met so many friends and acquaintances, some that we have known and others during our getaway trip to Mozambique. The pleasing part about seeing those you know or have met, is the fact that they are alive and still looking good. Our 'eventful' day, which was not planned ended up being quite a fun-filled, shot sipping, easy chilling loving day. But allas everything everything fun must come to an end, and that's exactly what we did before the Bafana Bafana vs Mali game. Oh wait the bar tenders at Great Dane didn't help much to chase a person away with their beverages, but i must commend them for their free-spirited friendly service.......IT WAS  A DAY WELL-SPENT IN THE SUN........

Stella Jean

STELLA JEAN

Why I love this Haitian-Italian designer? Because of her exceptional love for print and her ability to mix  different cultures, prints and an explosion of bright colour. Despite my obeseesion for African print, she also reminds me of our very own taleneted fashion designer Anisa Mpungwe, of Loincloth and Ashes. Why shoukl you love her? Well how can you not, after you have seen her latest Spring collection. Enjoy
