My LOVE for Solange Knowles has grown uncontrollably through-out the years. She's grown into her skin so much and has become content with who she is with the years, and NOW she is the epitome of what fashion, or rather selfless, edgy, fearless vintage fashion is. 

She recently embraced the cover of Elle magazine looking ravishing in truly South African designer Loin, Cloth and Ashes clothing. To add to the proudly South African list the music video which was directed by Melina Matsoukas and song written by Dev Hynes was shot in Capetown....Check out the video and if this song doesn't show you how much of a muse her son "Juelz" is then clearly you lost in space. This song show just how much shes grown and what mind frame she's in. I SALUTE this lady for her work, fashion sense and her humbleness.

Andreya Triana is a British singer/songwriter who deserves to be on my blog. Her voice not only captivates but reminds me why i love acoustic / soulful music. Listening to her voice makes me tap my foot, whilst bobbing my head to the musical instruments, to add to this her voice soothes every part of my body.

This past weekend my better half and I got the priviledge of seeing the famous WORLD soul singer Jesse Boykins iii perform live at STR CRD. We were so impressed, not only by his massice afro that wobbles everytime he moves across the satge but at his magnificent soulful voice. We were too impressed and just to share his talent with you guys, here is a video of one of his songs that he performed om stage. ENJOY.

SPRING!!!!!

I know its been a while since caressed BAT LIFESTYLE, but hey man work has been chaining me to the ground, yet i still found wings to fly and here i am.

Now lets get to the serious business...YES ITS SPRING (sigh), the only reason for girls to wear nothing and for men to flaunt their six packs. I hate the sun especially because it drains your energy....but then again the sun gives people may reasons to gather at braai's, events and social gatherings to sip on something refreshing or jus chill out.

WITH THAT SAID HERE SOME OF THE PLACES THAT I WENT TO AND ENJOYED A SIP OR TWO. Neighbourgoods Market in Johannesburg and STR CRD at Maboneng Precint were fabulous joints to see fashion and the amazing colours that people proudly wore.
