As I mentioned in the previous post about pastel and neon colours being the spring trend for all of us fashionista's, I went ahead and found two pairs of shoes that matched the description, and couldn't resist but to buy. However going through my cupboard I also found a few items that I wanted to share with you guys-JUST BECAUSE I CAN !.....
Whilst these gorgeous summer sandals are not neon, they are still bright, feminine and fabulous!
These pastel platform pumps are so comfortable and lady-like-LOVE THEM.
This gold bracelet and neck-piece are a must show-love the gold look, then the small Coconut bag that I bought in Mozambique is definitely a carrier for the spring time with shorts or summer dress.
I have always been "colour-shy" when it came to fashion-especially towards clothes. Surprisingly, these days I find myself drawn to bright NEON and PASTEL colours that make me stop, look, fit and buy. Yes ladies and gentlemen whilst I have never been the type to follow trends or rather go crazy over the latest fashion trends, I will admit that any NEON or PASTEL ITEM that I see draped over a mannequin or placed for display grabs my attention-well it also doesn't help that NEON is a totally unavoidable colour.
You can't miss nor deny that this seasons fashion trends, moving out of winter and into spring are NEON COLOURS and the softer contrast to that PASTEL; which are bound to get consumers (especially women) to have an item or two in your cupboard. Shops all over are starting to stock up on Neon and Pastel coloured items such as bags, t-shirts, trousers, dresses and shoes. Many ladies are also trying the whole neon eye-liner look, with brighter eye-shadows. For those who are too afraid to try bright make-up, their nails are following the trend. Whilst most men prefer to stick to natural earthy colours, adding a bright jacket, bright coloured socks or even a satchel to your outfit will work wonders. Here are some pics that I took from the internet whilst browsing to give you an idea of what too look out for if you go shopping. Other that what else can I SAY EXCEPT......ADD A LITTLE COLOUR TO YOUR OUTFIT AND BE COLOUR FREE!!!

Last night I stayed up to watch the Men's 100metre final at the London Olympic 2012, which aired live on SABC 2 at 22:50pm. This was a race that got everybody (including myself) tweeting, updating facebook statuses and finally updating bbm statuses every minute. Might I add that leading up to the race the semi-finals got me just as excited because with every heat finalists were bringing their A-game to the race-track. As the stadium sat in silence and waiting for race to begin, I felt my heart beating faster and faster. Watching the race Usain Bolt started off a bit slow but then gained momentum, and as usual opened the gap leaving his fellow competitors behind with his wet traces. Bolt crossed the finish line at an outstanding speed of 9.63seconds, which is an olympic record and fastest time in history. Jamaican sprinter Blake came in second and Gatlin of the US came in third. All I can say is Jamaica has brewed talent and they continue to sail their national flag up high in celebration of their achievments. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR ROWING TEAM: James Thompson, Matthew Brittain, John Smith and Sizwe Ndlovu FOR WINNING THE GOLD MEDAL.
"South Africa stunned favourites Great Britain and Denmark to claim their
first ever Olympic rowing gold medal in the lightweight men's four on
Thursday in front of a 25 000 crowd."
Have you ever paid close attention to the person singing for a specific artist, and wondered "who is he or she?" That's exactly how I felt with Kimbra when she sang for Gotye in his music video "somebody I used to know"....This ladies breath-taking voice got me to fall in love with her the moment I heard her, here's a track by the talented Kimbra herself, titled "Settle Down." ENJOY.
